Whew!

Edna says we served about 75 for Thanksgiving though the pumpkin flavored coffee didn't go over well. Edna says we won't fool with that silly stuff again. "Let 'em go to a fern bar if they want dumb stuff in their coffee," she says.

Maeve and Jay Lee are off to the 6:00 am door buster sale at Dorkmeier's Department Store off in Sledd County. Edna lets us have packages delivered here to the cafe. I think it helps her figure out what's going on in Maeve's head. Of course accidents do befall us! There was that box from some gift gallery that was supposed to be a model of Jay Lee's truck & turned out to be a scale model of Fort Sumter. Took two months to get that out of the walk in fridge where Earl stored it. He didn't want to wash the thing by accident making for a total of two.

Now we've got to convince Maeve that the FCC does not have a program for free neutering or spaying of cell phones. We all believe Maeve has this confused with something else.
