Whew because it's the week after Easter, and we're all about done in from the holiday service. Edna always stays open Good Friday for the church ushers to sneak in the back door for coffee and then there's the big day itself. Earl suggested the leftover raisin sauce might be good on pancakes so naturally Edna smiles and envisions a Sunday Special. She might even name it for Earl. That's a special sort of honor here--having a Specials named after you. Maeve's had three in the last ten years. I only had one that Thanksgiving the dressing didn't thaw.
Two post cards from Maeve & Jay Lee came yesterday. Funniest thing was the postmarks from Loon Center Post Office. Maeve forgot to mail them en route so she mailed them Tuesday after she found them in the bottom of her backpack. Said she thought it would be more fun than just bringing them in to work. Everyone likes to receive post cards. They sure ate at some nice truck stops.
