I say, Folks, one day we're selling hot anything and the next day it's Italian ices. That could only mean it's Spring in Loon County and we're getting ready for the Governor's Opener even though the Governor's Office claims no-one ever caught a fish on Lake Center. Can we help it if our fish are smarter than other Minnesota fish! You need special lures hand made and sold only in this very county. Otherwise our local swimmmers will chew the lures and bait right off the line. I'm told the turtles follow along and attach rocks to the lines after the fish chew the lures off. This, however, might be a wild story believed only by people by our own dear Maeve.
Maeve, by the way, reports seeing Ethan flying around with what looks to be a lady hawk. We all hope for Ethan's sake that this one is a Red Tail like he was. Feathered love is never easy.
