Tuesday Afternoon

We had a whole lot of weather last week, visiting fishermen, and a pitch fork through the roof of the cafe. Strong winds, you know. Funny thing is no-one knows whose pitch fork that might be. Don't sell them much in the country because most people move hay with loaders. Just those historical re-enacters who want to do things the good old back-breaking way. I was gonna climb up on the roof and get that pitch fork off when Edna decided that no, we should let it be. Kind of a conversation starter. If there wasn't enough to talk about in this town! Arthur Bridge come along and said we really ought to run a ground wire from it. Well, Arthur can be right about them dumbest stuff that I think I'll go do it even if it louses up the aesthetics as Edna might say. She hasn't yet.

Rain sure helped Lake Center. Son/sen claims it was enough to drown the fish. Good week to all, now where did I stash that steel cable?

Earl (sitting in for Jenn who's busy)
