I can explain. Right after Maeve and Jay Lee returned from their now annual road trip, I sprained my ankle and had to stay off it for awhile. Always compassionate, Edna had Sonny deliver the bookkeeping. Alright, she also sent with it the house special. Sometimes Earl brought it.
Earl told Edna the restaurant needed an advertising slogan for the Loon Times Weekly. Edna responded with a humpf. "OK," she says, "I got it. Eat, Pay, Don't Spit on the Floor." Maeve thought that might cost more than Edna and Mr. Edward C. Slurry would want to invest in advertising. For once I see Maeve's point. You got to sell a lot of espresso, or at least sell some. The only one who comes near the stuff is Mr. Slurry. Some days that's all you need.
Hobbling around Loon Center, thanks for stopping in. I have to make sure we have enough buns for the weekend.
