Snow & Ice

Dear Readers:

Well, snow & ice, we got 'em. Foot or more yesterday. As for the ice, every year it seems like someone drives a pick up onto Center Lake, knocks down the sign that says, "Danger Thin Ice" and gets themselves stuck in the shallows. Nelsen the Fire Chief says some year he's gonna let the next guy what knocks over that sign just stay there and fix it. "You ain't gonna drown there less you stick your face in the water. You'd get frostbite first."

A little more snow and the kids over at the high school are talking about building a snow maze. One of the seniors came up with the idea as a way to use the extra snow piled up. People would give them snow from their driveways for free if they shovel it. See, you can get things for free.
