The Green Banana Gang

Hi All:

Earl says they came in a day late for being green, but they're like that all the time. That is, the Green Banana Gang, as you might of guessed. They meet here in the cafe what you'd call irregularly. Far as I can tell that's their only purpose. They get together to get together. OK by us since they're not rowdy like the church musicians on Sunday afternoons. They come in and eat. What more could a restaurant want?

Lately the GBG's as they call themselves--like as though it was some kind of secret--anyway, the GBG's are trying to come up with a festival idea for the city of Loon Center. The Chamber is supposed to be sponsoring a prize for whoever comes up with an idea the city actually uses. That would rule out Mud Pie Days. Came from the first graders over at the school. Try again, kids.
