Um, Hi Gang:


I get a little carried away. What I mean is that Edna gave me Sunday off if I went over to the Autumn Leaves Buffet at the Methodist Church over in Dulcinea. Larry & me, Edna's treat. Now that's an offer you can't refuse. All she wanted was for me to report on the menu. I said it was pretty good, but that maybe we should go again next October just to be sure. Chicken and dumplings, roast beef and green beans, mashed potatoes--pretty much what you'd expect. For dessert there was heavenly hash. We were amazed at that. Heavenly hash is a Lutheran dish, isn't it?

Edna sad no doubling on menu forays cause she wants us ti check out the smorg at the UU church in Hanska, same date--first Sunday--next year. "Market research," she says. Lar & I said it was a date. We're not too good at the covert part though since 5 or 6 people said hi to us soon as we got past the door.
