Thanksgiving Finalized

Hello Readers:

Edna didn't want me to write any sooner about Thanksgiving menu plans. Sometimes she gets all hush hush about things. Like who's gonna copy our menu! OK, we met; we talked, we voted: it's gonna be turkey pizza with potato pancakes and apple sauce on account of the other holiday, Thanksgivukkah. If it all sounds a little silly, that's cause it is.

Anyhow, we're all taking a deep breath because we'll be open straight the holiday weekend starting at 5:30 AM tomorrow morning till after dinner sometime Sunday afternoon. It's the restaurant on the highway's turn to be open late. Then Friday morning, Maeve is off to go to the door buster sale at Schlockmeister's in Dolcinea. She does it every year. Maeve loves that sale. I don't remember her saying she ever bought anything there. She just likes the sale is all. Says it puts her in a holiday mood. Larry is bringing in a small TV tomorrow so I can watch the Thanksgiving Day parade. That's the highlight to me.
