Valentine's Day--Almost

Hi All:

Earl just came in saying there's a heck of a wind out there. Being in the Navy and all, he might have said something a little stronger but for one of Edna's house rules. Basically it says to watch your (Bleeping) language. She has a rolling pin mounted on a sign that says just that--or else! It's right by the time clock. It's not a really formal type time clock. There's just a regular clock by the shelve with the pile of time cards on it and a pencil. You came in and write down your time when you start shift and then you write down when you leave. There's only the five or six of us usually and nobody's stupid about it so it works for us.

Oh, Valentine's Day. Edna asked me if Larry and I wanted to take off for our anniversary but we decided, the two of us, let's just have the party here. G.I. plans to bake a red velvet anniversary cake with candy hearts on it and we might just bob for heart shaped marshmallows. Hand out little valentines, gosh maybe we'll think up a few more things. If anything spectacular happens, I'll be sure to let you in on it.
