Greetings Gang:
I'll put this one to you simply. If you must allow the children to show their pets on Main Street, be sure to keep those adorable baby bunnies separate from the larger reptiles. What almost happened today, well, I won't go into details. The bunny did escape and the largish black snake was recaptured, but there were fears and tears--like the columnist writes.
For once the cafe sales matched the weather. We sold lots of ice cream today and not much hot potato soup. And a lot of dogs went home with upset stomachs. I don't think dogs are supposed to eat ice cream. Larry & I aren't supposed to either so I guess we have a lot in common with our canine pals.
It definitely might rain again tomorrow. They had a half inch over in Dulcinea today John Jimson said. He was over there about some special order tires that didn't come in again. One day he'll get that old paintbox back in the field, he says. None of the rest of us do. Gosh, I almost wrote, "None of the rust of us." Well, that about sums up Jimson's old paintbox tractor. We think it might have been an M or an H before Jimson started customizing it.
Busy week ahead. Thanks for coming by.
Faithfully your assistant everything,
Jenn
