What I mean is colds. We've been sharing the sniffles here in the cafe and wearing sanitary masks with the funny gauze. I'm sort of drippy now. And of course the cold and snow took us by surprise since another ton of salt was due delivered to the county high way department late last week and slid off the road ten miles out of town. Don't quote me on that amount.
Guys, you'll be happy to know that the kitchen crew voted a traditional meal next Thursday. That's traditional by our standards. We're having at least two kinds of pizza, turkey and eel. Bet you didn't know that eel was a delicacy in old Plymouth! Maeve said so because she and Jay Lee took a road trip out east this spring and they learned a lot about it. Learned? Well, I think Plymouth Rock doesn't really winter over in Florida. Someone out there told Maeve that and she took the bait. Such a sweet gal, always, or why would a wild hawk make friends with her?
That's about it for here. Got to run over to the Q & C for more Kleenex. Stay off the ice and thanks for stopping.
