Help It's Raining Radishes!

Morning All:

Breakfast crowd was thick today. It's supposed to pour later so people wanna get in their field time now. People just love Edna's hash browns. The secret is no secret at all. She starts with the very best potatoes she can but she mixes them all up! Some reds, some Idahos, some Klondikes--no that's Yukon golds--whatever they got on the truck plus some people bring in when fall rolls round--and the lightest weight oil she can use on the grill. No salt but sometimes a little paprika and now that the Vidalia onions are still strong, well, um good!

Earl made us a great swap yesterday. This guy he knew or just met or something--the way Earl accumulates people, you know--wanted this old shot tire on a half rusted out rim, the way Earl tells it, leaning against Earl's garage. The garage leans a little too come to think of it. Guy didn't have much for cash but he did have a whole whale of a lot of fresh radishes so Earl took them on trade. Now we got a whole whale of a lot of fresh radishes. That spells windfall to Edna. We're giving away a free side of radishes with every sandwich or meal ordered, "For a Limited Time Only. While Supplies Last!" Anybody ever try a radish smoothie?

Think I'll stretch a bit and have a walk around the block before the dinner crowd. Nice and warm here, about 70. Glad you stopped in. Try our new radish pudding, won't you?

Jenn
