Well the Co-op restaurant didn't get its hot beverage products delivery so we had twice the business. Edna says she's gonna give the coffee and cocoa for free and charge rent for the chairs and booths. Honestly, people didn't even want to ice fish in this weather. It's not as much fun when the ice isn't thin. Fishing won't be an extreme sport.
In the middle of all this crowd of coffee drinkers, Maeve announces it's time to change the water filters. Earl used to argue but Maeve would tell him to run the tester if he didn't believe her. He got tired of Maeve being right about the filters and asked her how she knew. Well, Maeve said Earl wouldn't notice the change because he usually wears rubber gloves. She doesn't have the time to put on gloves every time she's gonna get her hands wet. When the system needs cleaning, her thumb starts to crack. Maeve's rule of the thumb. It's that easy.
Hope it warms up because we got a case of lemonade powder creeping toward expiration date. Stay warm all.
