OK, I'll tell you, the rabbit did not die!
Here's what happened at the fair at the 4-H rabbit barn. The fair board had these new electronic latches to try out on the cage doors. If the latches worked on the rabbit hutches, the county commissioners were going to install them in the three jail cells at the court house. Kids were going around saying a lop ear chewed at the wiring and got fried in the process and that Edna was going to serve it at the cafe. So, to set the story straight, first there is no fired rabbit, second Edna says she hasn't stooped to feeding people some kid's pet bunny for supper, and lastly a solder joint failed!That should set everyone straight. Except for those usual county fair time fables, it was a great time for Loon County.
That ought to do for now. Got to order more miniature marshmallows for the heavenly hash.
