I really have to catch you reading guests up.
Maeve & Jay Lee are gonna be grandparents. I don't remember if it's their daughter or their daughter-in-law so don't ask. I just know that one of them & husband are expecting twins. I'm also not exactly sure when. I figure we'll all hear.
The Scandinavian Curling Club has evolved a bit. It's just not the same using bricks as those imported stones. They've adopted a free form style of ice hockey with brooms and surplus plastic ash can lids. There was a sale at the Stille Brothers Q & C on the high way. John, I think it was, offered the brooms and lids when brick curling didn't seem to work as well as they'd had liked.
You know when it was so chilly last week on Thursday? Well, Edna come out of the walk in muttering "Iced cream." I asked if she meant the cream froze and she said what she meant was we were going to sell hot fudge ice cream sundaes after the basketball game Friday. Who eats ice cream in this weather anyway? Apparently more people than play basketball. The game against Crosby-Newland was cancelled and a whole aimless crowd of fans came over and ate hot fudge sundaes. Trust Edna. Earl says if this weather keeps up we can save electricity moving the cold stuff outside. That sounds like an entirely new set of complications but Edna just cocked her head in that way that says, "Keep going. I'm listening."
Well, thanks for stopping in. Enjoy the beautiful winter weather.
Jenn
