You know that can only mean Maeve. When she goes out to buy a new pair of shoes she's more like a hunter than a shopper. Over the weekend she and Jay Lee went over to the Chocolate Chip Cookie Festival in Dulcinea. Maeve heard that The Q & C was having a street sale of shoes and she was aiming for a new pair of boots. Right on target, Maeve came back with a nice set of beaded moccasins. Hope they were her size.
It's kind of different not writing the blog on Sunday afternoons when it's so quiet in the diner, but Edna said I had to quit doing that and get a life outside of work. I don't know. Makes Sunday afternoons so long. Maybe I should read the Loon Times more closely for Sunday afternoon doings.
