Hi All:
I think that's a line from a poem off the calendar from the funeral parlor over in Dulcinea. Some as call it the Dulcinea Dead House, but it's meant in fun. Every year they sponsor a big Halloween party. I hear they throw off some on a funeral if you got a relative lyin' in state over the holiday. It makes for a kind of authenticity, but I think it's outright creepy.
Oh the twixt time and dreamy days. Well we are between the lunch crowd and coffee break unless you consider the noon mean dinner and the coffee break as lunch. Then we'd be twixt dinner and lunch, right? And the dreamy days? It's just warm enough with sunshine and the trees all kinds of red and orange and yellow and a few are still green in the leaf. It's just a dream. The most exciting thing that happened all weekend is that I changed my toothbrush because it was the first of fall on Saturday. After Edna kicked me out of the restaurant I walked over to the Legion Hall and helped them set up for the social that evening. Then my ex stopped in and we went back there after super for the dance.
That's excitement enough for me.
Faithfully,
Jenn
