That's Right, Snow!

Afternoon Everyone:

Lat week, what was it? Thursday, and it snowed. Woke up and everywhere out the window everything was white. The kids were all excited and Maeve. She gets excited over things like that, the first snow I mean. Maeve's not all that much younger than I am in years, but sometimes she gets this excitement that only the kids do. I don't know how to say it any more than that. The snow was pretty much gone by the time the kids got out of school. Lot of snowmen and forts have to wait.

We're all set for Halloween. The cafe's gonna do my mausoleum idea with cobwebs and bats and things. Earl, G.I., and some of the guys plan to hang around a bit later in case someone gets some trick ideas after hours. We'll be serving tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for the evening meal. Maybe some cold turkey sandwiches. If you get hungry, you know where we are.
