"And All The Trimmings"

Whew! It's been busy today. Great weather and it's like everyone gets the idea at the same time, let's eat out. A few early holiday shoppers too. Maeve looks forward to the door-buster Black Friday sales at Schlockmeister's  in Dulcinea. That's Maeve's favorite. Don't know what the girl would do if they ever closed down.

We settled on the holiday menu late Friday night. It's going to be a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all of the trimmings. Except for one thing. There will not be any eel pie. Earl was out on the coast one year and visited historic Plimoth Plantation and found out they ate some stuff I'm thankful we don't have to is all I've got to say on the subject. Earl, my ex, G.I. and some of the other guys have decided they want to deep fat fry a whole turkey like Earl saw on one of those cooking shows. All Edna had to say was, "Be sure and remember to take the feathers off it first."

So, you know were open Thanksgiving to be with our family and friends. A happy Thanksgiving to all of us from all of us at the cafe.
