Executive Session

Hello Everyone:

Well, we're making up for last winter's lack of snow. Not so many in for dinner this noon but we're selling lots of hot chocolate now. Edna has decided Christmas dinner will be two entrees, ham or beef, with mashed potatoes, peas or corn (or both), cornbread--G.I. is baking, and some sort of pie for dessert. We'll be open all night Christmas eve through Christmas night at 10:00 PM. It's always a lot of fun here on holidays. People we haven't seen for years or all year tend to pop in. It's a regular reunion.

Oh, executive session? That's when Edna gets together with her Mr. Edward T. Slurry, her husband, and they talk something over about The Enterprise. In this case it was colds and sniffles. So, by executive order, and after consulting with the co-op restaurant on the highway, we'll be closed tomorrow and Wednesday with pay! Edna wants every to stay home and get healthy for this weekend and Christmas. We're expecting traffic!

Drive safe and thanks for coming by.
Jenn
