"Waitress is a calling"--Maeve Lee

Hi Every one:

Thought I'd lead off with the only quote I know of that ever came from Maeve. This also answers a question people have in the backs of their minds. I've mentioned Maeve's husband Jay Lee and people have wondered what's their last name. Now you know. It's Lee. Maeve's been teaching a short course on being a waitress or waiter over at the high school. You know, what every server should know according to Maeve. She's in the course of forming up a server corp for town banquets and buffets. The kids will get paid a little and get some work experience and town dinners and receptions will get a little polish. I like the idea.

Elsewhere, the guys might even get into the field this week. Lar and Jay Lee are hiring out as field extras to help with the push to plant corn. This morning, Edna looked at the sky, stepped outside and sniffed a little. Back inside she says, "It's gonna be another soup week, but keep back some salad greens." She's usually right about these things.
