Halloween Plans

Hi Gang:

Well, we're getting ready for Halloween. That means I'm on my annual search for a reasonable size bag of candy corn. Seems like the only size it comes in any more is way too big. Just in the autumn, round this time of year I want a few candy corns. You know the kind, sort of triangle like with a lot of orange, a little band of white and a yellow tip. I know they make the same tasting candy for Christmas and Easter and Valentine's Day and any other time, but for me there's only one time of year for candy corn, now. As that television character says, "And I am unanimous in this!"

Oh the other doings? We're going to be part of  Spook Street again this year. Regular customers to enter using Creep Alley. Then Edna says Mr. Edward T. Slurry has a circus act with a guy and his trained bats coming down. So were going to drape the diner in black with skeleton cut-outs and this guy's gonna work his bat act from a platform above the diner. Sounds spooky to me. Edna hasn't decided what we're giving the kids for treats yet. Stay tuned?

Thanks for coming by.
Jenn
