Loon Center and the cafe are still around, gardens are even coming up even if the weather's been real wet. The corn and beans are in and up. So far, the weeds aren't bad, but the grass is really growing. One guy said he was worried that somebody might be collecting animals and building a boat..The weather's good for business. More guys are sitting around, ordering coffee and playing farm with dice. They get noisy even if they're glum. Somebody said that they might need pontoons instead of treads on the tractors.
Lars keeps me up on what's going on. I just haven't felt like talking. He can show up at the worst time, though. He's always been like that. I can do more things now after the wreck. You can't carry a tray with a walker, but it's better than a wheel chair. The books should be in good shape. There are times there's nothing to do but working on them. The rest of the time I fill out insurance forms and check them. The companies seem to be arguing over who has to pay.
