And The Heat Goes On...

Good Evening Everyone:

Hot and dry here and the cold table keeps on getting emptied out. Seems like we gotta keep tuna fish on the menu more than on Fridays. Edna has been mumbling about breeding extra large gold fish cause tuna's getting high. I really doubt that's going to go over but Edna seems to have an unerring sense about what sells. I just order what she tells me and things work. Earl can get a crew together and build ponds, I guess.

Ballgame again tomorrow night but I think our team travels so we have the evening off. Go sample someone else's hot dogs for a change. It's been just too quiet around town. Oh well, county fair is close by, second week of August I think. G.I Bridge is working on a top secret cinnamon bun recipe he hopes to introduce at the fair. He and Earl have put in some late nights on the back line of the kitchen mixing stuff that's supposed to equal blue ribbon buns.

Evenings after work, Larry and I just like to sit out on the front porch cause it's screened in with yellow bug repellent bulbs. People come by a chat for awhile. Around here it's just what you do of a summer evening.

So good night to all. That porch swing's calling.
Jenn
