Sell Out!

Hello All:

Sell out ain't a bad thing here in the restaurant, and sell out we did. Hottest day of the year here in Loon County and Edna put vegetable beef noodle soup on sale. With oyster crackers. Not even enough left in the pot to swab on bread.

And today is the second first day of school. The Swirtz kid and a few others showed up but the janitor was late owing to decide to get that rarest of all things, a Monday haircut. Then Lennie was feeling silly so he went off to the candy store. the janitor got to school and, guess what?, no kids. So he went off to a boiler room card game. Classes began today.

Meanwhile it was wild here. I'm about to go home and soak my feet. Glad you stopped by.
