Well, let's see. We're hosting some sort of high school graduation shindig for Sonny & her Taylor next weekend. Edna says we'll take the hot dog wagon to the park and the soda stand too. Sonny's going to work here through the summer and then she's off to the state college. Taylor's going to take up a technical course up in Canby. Wants to open his own repair shop. Glad we've got G.I.
Earl & the guys have been splitting their time between walleyes and helping rebuild the fire hall. No-one remembered that fire engines need diesel tanks so the lucky guys that took them home also needed bulk tanks and their yards are getting crowded. Arthur Bridge said that maybe they can have the fires there too. Arthur has such a practical outlook.
Edna said we need new menus, not a new menu, menus. She things the old ones smell like vinegar and onions. Guess my allergies are worse than I thought, but I have to go to the printers in Dulcinea for samples. "oh yeah," she says, "and don't spend a mint."
That's about it for now in Loon Center. Thanks for stopping in.
