Junk Exchange Days

Hi Gang:

We do that every once in awhile, the Junk Exchange I mean. People clean up their broken appliances and other stuff and bring it to the high school gym or someplace like that. One year it was the fairgrounds. Anyway, the idea is that people come through and can buy what they need for parts or something else. Almost everything gets recycled one way or the other. It's this weekend and we'll have the hot dog wagon out front of the school.

Larry asked me where I wanted to go for our second honeymoon and I told him to make it a surprise. Edna gave me the week off. She's generous that way. Even so, I don't think we'll have time to go any place far. Maybe the coast of Lake Superior. Cold over East there. We'll just have to snuggle.
