Don't know about where you are, but here we got in the parade just between the rainstorms. We were going to have to move it all into the high school. It would have worked OK except for the horses and the fire engine. The fire engine is definitely too big. If I have to explain to you why not to march the horses inside, all I can say is to try it some time and tell me how it worked out for you.
We brought the hot dog & chili wagon inside the high school foyer. That worked OK. School superintendent said just to clean up after ourselves and the school would spring for the electric bill. Earl, Jay Lee, and Larry got the wagon up the stairs. The only mishap of the day--that I know of--is that the rainbow balloon arch got loose and we'll be chasing the balloons down for a few more days. That's pretty good, considering.
