Earl Jones For Mayor!

Hi All:

That's right, you read it here first. Our own Earl is running for mayor. OK, truth time. It's Earl's turn. All of the aldermen have to take a turn at being mayor and the current guy, Morrisen, just plain got tired of it. No, I didn't misspell it, the name is Morrisen. Norwegian I guess. Earl was out on the lake in the new rubber raft/boat thing with Larry and Jay Lee riding shotgun in a leaky row boat when one of the other aldermen called him to tell him the news. Earl was so ticked he almost drown his cellphone.

The rest of the news is that it's hot and then it's wet. That's why I didn't get to the blog till now. Didn't want to be online while it was so hot the power lines were sagging.But that's hardly news, is it?

I think we're gonna close early to watch the Jaycees play the Kiwanis in slow pitch. With so many guys in both clubs, I don't know how there's enough to field two teams. Maybe some of them will have to switch off.
