On Tuesdays From Now On

Hi Gang:

Well yeah, starting next week I'll be making my blog entries on Tuesday early afternoons (less something comes up). Because, here's why, some of the deliveries got switched to Monday plus the post office messing with where they route and sort mail--not our local guys. They're terrific! It's some honcho guys in the head office. Maeve said she heard that they hide out in an underground bunker in Virginia somewhere, but we all know that Maeve is apt to believe some things other people don't. So I hope the switch to Tuesdays doesn't inconvenience anyone but Edna says "Business first." She's right, you know.

Speaking of whom, Edna I mean, Edna said she'd do her knife act at the Loon County fair. She hasn't done much of that since she retired from Slurry's carnival though she keeps a set of practice knives in the office--locked up!--in case she wants to blow off a little steam. Almost had a nasty incident over that a few years back but it came out OK. She sure scared the vet though.

Been a bit cooler than normal for the end of July. A little change is good, right? Larry is out helping bring in the oats here and there around town and that makes him happy. Anything with wheels and a motor and he'll drive it. Just like Jay Lee, two peas in a pod those two when it comes to machinery.
