Hi Gang:
Hope everyone is enjoying Christmas and all. We did since we had shorter hours. new Year's Eve and all is hours. Christmas is usually happy here and maybe a little morose. That's for the ones who don't have any one. That's why one of the two restaurants is always open then. When the weather takes a cold a snap, like it did yesterday, Edna has taken to putting out a big sign "Car Won't Start? Free Coffee Here!" She says that if the guys at the restaurant on the highway don't like that that they can always put up a sign of their own!
So New Year's menus will be the same except that Edna said to put in an extra supply of our Saturday Night Special. That's assorted head and stomach ache remedies. And what's the fuss about advertising free coffee? We never charge for coffee on special holidays. First pot of tea also and that's with tea and lemon thrown in. "Surely you're joking, Mr. Feynman!" That's from a book I read once. I needed a change from those romance novels. That was before Larry came back to stay, I hope to stay cause we'e been getting along good and he don't seem itchy to travel. This time I'd come with him!
2015, here we come!
