Beat The Cold!

Happy New Year Everyone:

That's right, "Beat The Cold!" We're starting off 2015 with a special. I mean a free hot fudge sundae at noon when you order the dinner special. Otherwise, half-price sundae but only with vanilla ice cream. With the special you can pick your flavor. Here we make it a privilege. To a lot of people an ice cream special in Minnesota January is a little nuts, included at no extra charge. Edna says she's being a market contrarian--whatever that means. It often works.

Edna read in a book somewhere that if you want to cool down you drink something hot and if you're cold you drink something cool. Or eat in this case. I don't know... .

So here we are in ordinary times again but December was one big holiday and reunion. Family, friends, stray dogs even. And it started Thanksgiving week. Guess we could use a break and not be too festive till maybe Valentines Day.
