Cactus And Coffee

Good Foggy Morning Reading Guests:

Maeve has explained herself, I mean about serving coffee to the cactus. (Cacti?) She read about it in Barn and Garden Magazine. I think that's the name, Barn And Garden--B & G they call it. Anyway, she claims the article says coffee helps the cactus grow strong bones and teeth. I for one don't want to be around any cactus with strong bones and teeth and a caffeine high. She says, Maeve that is, that you have to supplement the coffee with a serving of whole milk once a week. Could they really be just like us? the cactuses, I mean?

If the sun don't burn off this fog we're not gonna have any noon rush and we might as well forget about supper. It's thick and the fog just seeps into the eggs and orange juice and everything. We're all sort of feeling our way through the haze. Wouldn't you just know it but Edna's come up with a foggy day special. Anyone wanna guess? Split pea soup. That comes with crackers, buck and a quarter a cup or one seventy five a bowl with two slices of toast. Rye and whole grain included. Try it with the soy or bacon sprinkles.

Excitement over at the high school. The lady Winged Warriors might make it past regionals in basketball. A fast game of hoops can be good for the soul.

Well, keep your headlights on low and glad you came by.

Faithfully,
Jenn
