Summer In January

Hi Gang:

Well, that's what it feels like here. Summer! Been up to 40 degrees here in Loon County. That's 40 Fahrenheit. I grew up with old-fashion measurements like inches and yards. It's different for kids today and you probably know that. Your kids and grand kids are talking this other language about liters and centimeters. I guess I should sit down and figure some of this out before both sets of twins  start learning this in school & want homework help. That's a scary thought.

I don't know what's on Maeve's mind but it sure isn't the restaurant. She ought to know by now that cactus don't drink coffee. We have three, all brought in by Maeve because she thought the place needed some plants we weren't putting on plates. She came up with cactus since it doesn't require a lot of care. Adds color. But coffee. So far I have heard of her serving our customers plant food. We'll have to watch that. So far the cactus all look OK.

Have a good week everyone. Happy you stopped by.
Jenn
