Blowin' In the Wind

Good Afternoon Gang:

Well the days are getting longer, aren't they! To think of it, tomorrow's Ash Wednesday. Two of the Lutheran churches in town are giving ashes and two aren't. So that would make us a 50-50 kind of place. Larry's family always went to one of the ones that did and our family always went to one of the ones that didn't.didn't. This year we go to Lar's church. We have respectfully decided to share. Some people think that's nuts, but we make pledges both places. Anyway, Edna said that yeah, I could be off for the service though she also said she could get me ashes closer to here. For Edna this is a purely practical consideration so I hope no-one is offended.

Since the weather is blowin' in the wind, it's been chilly here. Hope you don't mind my bringing up our menu, but today is a free cold drink with your sandwich or entree.  Water's always free. Big of us, I suppose.This is another purely practical consideration, telling you about our specials. Edna thought it was the least I could do since I'm adding to the blog on the clock.
