Gee Gang:
I meant patience, I think. It's been another one of those days. Busy I mean. Easter Sunday was packed. One way or another, that's eat-in or carry-out, we sold about 300 dinners about equally split between turkey ham and regular type ham. You know, pork. Have to keep that turkey ham on hand for hot sandwiches in the future. Brisk yesterday, but today packed again! We didn't even have much of a special and Edna called this one "with the weather." Chilly and damp. She served three kinds of soup: chicken with rice, beef noodle and cheese with cauliflower optional. People went for it. Well, plus the usual stuff.
Oh, and Mr. Edward T. Slurry did surprise Edna for Easter. He said he'd come for a visit before the circus and carnival hits the road for the spring and summer seasons up North. He has a new trapeze act he's all excited over. They juggle upside down or some such. It sounds crazy to the average sane Minnesotan but Mr. Edward T. Slurry said he send a DVD as long as we didn't copy it or anything. "People might not come to see the act if they already seen it" he says.
It's greening up a bit here but so far we seem to mainly be growing mold. We'll have to use that chlorine-smelling stuff in some odd corners. Meanwhile, glad you found the time to stop by.
Sincerely,
Jenn
