The Big News in Town

Hi Readers and Others:

I suppose that's silly. Who else would be here but readers. I reserve the right to be illogical on days as hot and sticky as these have been.

What's the news? And I got this from my husband Larry, Loon Center is getting a new barber fresh out of barber college. We haven't had one since Jergen quit and moved to Florida. He's skinning alligators and Burmese pythons now. Says there's a higher profit margin than cutting hair. Course the insurance premiums do go up quite a lot. Jergen also says no customer of his ever tried to put the serious squeeze on him all the while he was cutting hair.

Meanwhile, this new guy is expected middle of August. Going to set up in the old feed store and sell combs and shoe horns on the side. That sounds like a real business man to me. They must teach that now long with the hair cutting and balloon shaving in school. Got to make it pay. Lar says as though the guy is one of those mid life career changers out to find himself after some other job. Airline piloting or something and it got old for him. Maybe he'll open at county fair.

Out side of that it's been quiet here and quiet is how we like it. Glad you decided to spend some of your life here with us. Have a cool week.

Jenn
