George Frey Vs Ethan

Well, we found out where Ethan found the snake, a hog nose from Michigan, but more recently from George Frey's Herpetology Heaven just south of town. You see, Maeve got back from her cosmetics convention and told Jill, her neighbor about the snake. Jill mentioned it to Mary Lou the cashier at Super Saver and the bag boy lives down the road from George Frey on the old Jahnsen place.

Well George was hopping mad when he stormed into the restaurant--almost as mad in fact as Earl was scared when he happened to open the coffee can with the hog nose in it at just about the same time. They were both taken aback because Maeve came in with the new salt shakers and her red, white, and blue frosted hair. Did I say "both?" The hog nose must have been just as scared because it slipped out of the can and into the store room. I wonder if hog noses hunt mice because that's about the only thing I can think of to tell Edna when she finds out it's in there.

Maeve says the new frosting uses special dyes that change with the seasons. By Christmas it's supposed to be red, green, and gold.
