We at the Institute wish to advise all winter hikers and outdoor sports persons in Northern Woodlands to be aware of the snow snake. These are dangerous animals and should only beapprehended by a certified herpetologists. If you intend to intrude upon their habitat your best protection is a good set of night vision goggles.
