"The Autumn Breeze..."

Happy Almost Autumn Readers:

Remember that song about how it's suppose to be tender, I forget what caresses what, the leaves or the breeze. The breeze wasn't too tender last week Thursday night when a gust snapped Stille Brothers Q & C sign in two. Johann said they were thinking about putting up a new one anyway. Guess this just settles the question.

And the kids are back to school. Jill's going to come in a few afternoons. Wednesdays and Fridays I think to help out and Saturday mornings. It can be lonely in here when the kids are back in school. Maybe the whole town should home school so we could keep them around more. Then they could play sports for fun instead of for blood like the high school teens do now. Seems they're grown and gone soon enough.  But that's just me.

It was crazy busy all weekend what with Labor Day and we stayed open longer. So did the Co-op restaurant on the high way. Free coffee everywhere we said and "Have your accidents somewheres else." Well, that isn't entirely serious I hope you understand. Got to go help Maeve drag out all the orange decorations. Have a good week.

Jenn
