Happy Saint Patrick's Day from Maeve's Irish aunt to everyone else. I didn't know Maeve had any uncles who married Irish women. They didn't and she didn't. One of Maeve's aunts married a guy whose ancestors came to this country like on a raft with Saint Brendan or something. Maeve's aunt converted from Norwegian to Irish.
Here in the restaurant we're having green food day. I think it might be simpler to give everyone green glasses at the door like in that kids book, but no, Edna wants to do it up right.And then there's that book about green ham. Hope Edna hasn't seen that one. We convinced her not to dye the corned beef green. Green potatoes aren't terribly appetizing either. But that's just me! We'll see what the guests think.
