On the Bulletin Board

Easter Menu Planning Meeting
3;00 PM in the cafe
Coffee and rolls served
Public input invited.

(Edna says only restaurant employees will be paid for attending.) (That's TODAY people!)

Hello Readers and Everyone:

Got in this morning and Edna had already posted the notice above. Rumor has it she wants everything all wrapped up with lipstick on it cause Mr. Edward T. Slurry will be coming to visit. Mr. Slurry--and it's always "Mr. Slurry"--is Edna's husband. They have this kind of distance relationship. Larry and I had that for years when we weren't married for awhile. I mean we were married then we weren't and now we are again. I like now better.

Windy in this part of the state. That's usually only over in the cities when the state lawmakers are in session. There you got it. Close as I come to being political in this blog. Edna says you only can do this on company time if you write about us, the place, and not the rest of the universe. Today the rest of the universe is Local Supply & Warehouse to see if they have some nice Easter napkins and place mats. The meeting too, of course. Edna says not to let them clash with the booths, and Maeve wants to know if it's OK to decorate her coffee-drinking cactus for Easter. "Long as the cactus ain't rowdy," says Edna.

Hey, be careful on the roads this morning. Glad you came on in.

Jenn
