Snowed In!!

Hi Gang:

Guess who's pulling the late shift today. We were snowed in and it took awhile for Larry and I to dig out. OK, I know what you might have read. Loon County didn't get that much snow, about 4 inches in town. And the rest of Loon County doesn't have Clem Olavson plowing their street either. For some reason he decided to off load a truck load or so of snow right at the head of our driveway. At least (1) it was only a truck load or so and at least (2) it was snow and not anything else.

So I got in about one PM but Edna was nice about it. She knows Olavsons from way back. They're like that. Oh yeah, at least (3) somehow Clem managed to miss our mailbox. We always reckon it to be a good storm if we keep our mailbox upright.

Lar remembers it was so bad one winter that the snow plow got stuck in the snow. Highway Department sent out twin 'dozers and they nearly got stuck too.  Geez, if it was Olavson, I think we'd bring him sandwiches and leave him there. The rest of the county would be temporarily safer.  Just safer all around. Anyway, here I sit till closing.
